It was open, assembled, started and test ran.Delivery: The delivery was listed as Amazon Prime without any further qualification when ordered but it is actually delivered by a freight company who calls to setup a delivery appointment. Someone must be present to accept the delivery but they came with a lift truck and put the unit into our garage on the pallet. When they called they asked if someone would be there to help unload the truck and when I said no (only my wife home) they said they would bring a lift truck which they did without problem. Total time to receive was about 7 days. Packing, unpacking, assembly: The unit was on a full size pallet and wrapped with heavy corrugated box. The unit would have been hard to unload from a truck even with 2 people since the pallet is bulky and heavy but once the tiller is unpacked it is easy for 2 people to lift. There are... I went to start it today, roughly 4 1/2 months after the last use, cord snapped immediately. This tiller has been meticulously cared for and stored in a heated garage over winter. Buyer's beware. |
